Technical Committee

Meghan has been working in the field of marine conservation for over 20 years and is the founder of Sea Change Consulting. She specializes in stakeholder driven planning for marine resource management and community-based climate adaptation. To do this, she develops and facilitates processes that allow diverse groups of people to share information and experiences to identify collective goals and actions that support long term sustainability and community well-being. Meghan has coordinated and facilitated broad reaching learning networks across the Pacific Islands and the Caribbean to build capacity of conservation practitioners and led the collaborative development of several tools to support facilitation of community-based planning. These tools include topics such as climate change adaptation; effective locally managed area design; understanding coastal change, and adaptive management.
