PacIOOS Water Quality Sensor Partnership Program

The project is a collaboration between the MCT, the Marine Environment Research Institute of Pohnpei (MERIP), the Conservation Society of Pohnpei (CSP), and a community-based organization called the U Kateng en Moaresed to sustain and enhance the ongoing aquaculture efforts in Awak Pah community. Its primary focus is to collect baseline data and monitor water quality parameters around Awak Pah village to determine the suitability of the current aquaculture sites and identify potential areas for more effective aquaculture practices.
